Ingredients
10–12 servings

fresh yeast – 15–20 grams;

sugar – 2 teaspoons;

warm water – 300 ml;

“Makfa” superior grade wheat flour – 500 grams;

salt – 1 teaspoon;

vegetable oil – 3 tablespoons.

Cooking

1. Dissolve the yeast in warm water with sugar and leave to prepare for 10 minutes. Sieve the flour into a heap, add some salt. Make a dent in the middle of the flour heap, pour the yeast and vegetable oil. Mix smooth elastic dough and leave it in a warm place for an hour.

2. Divide the dough into 10–12 parts, roll them into balls, cover with towel and leave for 15 minutes. Then roll them into 10–12 cm round flat cakes.

3. Heat the oven to 220°С and bake pitas for 7–8 minutes. Pile the pitas, cover them with towel, let cool and serve.
