I agreecauliflower – 1 head of medium size;
sesame oil – 1 tablespoon;
water – 50 ml;
“Makfa” superior grade wheat flour – 120 grams;
baking powder – 1 teaspoon;
corn starch - 2 teaspoons;
sesame seeds – 1 teaspoon;
vegetable oil for frying;
lemon to serve – 1 fruit;
salt, pepper.
For the sauce:
1 piece of ginger root 3 centimeters long;
garlic – 2 cloves;
chili – 1/2 of pepper;
vegetable oil – 1 tablespoon;
vegetable broth – 200 ml;
soy sauce – 2 tablespoons;
rice vinegar – 1 tablespoon;
sesame oil – 2 tablespoons;
sugar – 2 tablespoons;
starch – 1 tablespoon.

1. Separate the cauliflower into curds. Mix sesame oil, water, flour, baking powder, corn starch, sesame seeds, a pinch of salt and pepper in a bowl. Put the cauliflower curds in a batter and roll over.
2. Heat vegetable oil in a stewpot and fry portions of the cauliflower for 3–4 minutes.
3. Dice thinly the ginger root, garlic and chili pepper to prepare the sauce. Heat the vegetable oil and fry the ginger stirring for 15–20 seconds. Add the garlic and pepper and fry a little. Add the vegetable broth, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil and sugar. Add the starch dissolved in 1 tablespoon of water immediately on boiling of the sauce. Cook the sauce until thickened.
4. Place the cauliflower into the sauce, mix and serve with slices of lemon.
