“Makfa” superior grade wheat flour – 250 grams + 2 tablespoons;

powdered sugar – 250 grams;

baking powder – 10 grams;

3 eggs;

nuts (almond, hazelnut) – 200 grams;

grated orange zest – of 1 fruit;

cinnamon – 1/2 teaspoon.

Cooking

1. Sieve the flour and powdered sugar, mix with baking powder. Scramble the eggs in a separate bowl. Mince the nuts, grate the zest on a fine grater.

2. Slowly add the eggs to the flour, stir thoroughly. Add the nuts, zest and cinnamon. Mix a homogeneous dough and separate it into 4 parts. Roll each part into a 3 cm cylinder and sprinkle with flour.

3. Put the cylinders on a baking pan covered with baking paper with a 10 cm distance between them and apply slight pressure to them. Heat the oven to 180°С and bake for 15 minutes. Take the biscotti from the oven, cut them into 1 cm slices and put them back for another 5 to 7 minutes. Serve after cooling.
