Semolina Bake with Plums and Chocolate

Semolina Bake with Plums and Chocolate
4 servings

500 ml of 22% cream

200 ml of milk

50 g of butter

100 g of Makfa semolina

100 g of bitter chocolate

1 tbsp of ground cocoa

1 package of baking powder

2 tbsp of honey

170 g (12 tbsp) of sugar

4 eggs

10 large plums

50 g of pistachios, unsalted

sour cream or jam to serve

2 hours 20 minutes

1. Bring the cream and the milk to a boil, add butter. Then gradually add the semolina while mixing, and bring the liquid to a boil again.

2. Add the chocolate, the cocoa, the baking powder, the honey and 2 tbsp of sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil, remove from heat and let cool.

3. Whip eggs with 8 tbsp of sugar until thick. Cut plums in half, remove kernels, and mix the plums with the remaining two tbsp of sugar.

4. Mix the cool porridge with whipped eggs. Place the plums on the bottom of the baking sheet, and cover with the semolina mixture. Heat the oven to 170°С and bake for 45 minutes.

5. Cool the bake and refrigerate for 1 hour. Then sprinkle with crushed nuts and serve with sour cream or jam.
