Chinese Millet Porridge with Apples and Cinnamon

Chinese Millet Porridge with Apples and Cinnamon
4 servings

600 ml of water

180 g of packaged Makfa millet

2 tbsp of brown sugar

2 apples

1 tsp of dried ginger

1 tsp of ground cinnamon

4 tbsp of honey

1 hour 10 minutes


Additional properties For kids


1. Pour water into a saucepan, add the millet and the sugar. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to a minimum and cook on low heat for 1 hour, mixing frequently, until the millet is soft.

2. Remove apple core and seeds, cube the apples. Add the apples, the ginger, the cinnamon and the honey to the porridge and heat the mixture for 2-3 minutes. Serve.
