room temperature butter – 120 grams;

brown sugar – 100 grams;

eggs – 2 pieces;

“Makfa” superior grade wheat flour – 220 grams;

baking powder – 1 teaspoon;

baking soda – 1/2 teaspoon;

walnuts – 50 grams;

sugar powder to serve – 10 grams;

salt.

Cooking

1. Mix and whisk butter and sugar together. Separately whisk 2 eggs. Add one half of the whisked eggs to the butter and mix together again. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, a pinch of salt and beat the paste until smooth. Add chopped walnuts and mix the paste again.

2. Form round paste products using the spoon and place them on the baking sheet covered with backing paper. Add 1 tablespoon of water to the rest half of the whisked eggs, mix all together and baste the cookie products.

3. Heat the oven to 180°С and bake the cookie products for 35 minutes. Let the cookies cool and serve them sprinkled with sugar powder.
