Ground Pea Pancakes with Bananas
Ingredients
4 servings

2 packets of Makfa grinding peas in packets

200 g of flour

2 tsp of baking powder

1 tsp of ground cinnamon

2 tbsp of soft brown sugar

160 ml of milk

2 eggs

1 banana

30 g of butter

powdered sugar for service

vanilla ice-cream for service (optional)

Cooking

1. Bring water to a boil, shake the packets with peas and gently lower them into the water. Reduce heat and cook peas for 35-40 minutes until soft. Remove the peas from the packets, cool to room temperature, place in the food processor and blend into a puree.

2. Add the bolted flour, the baking powder, the cinnamon, the sugar, the milk and the eggs, and beat until the mixture is of thick pancake batter consistency. Add the cubed banana, mixing slightly.

3. Heat some butter in the pan with a non-stick surface, pour 2 tbsp of batter and spread it evenly. Fry for 2 minutes or until the bubbles appear. Turn over and fry the pancake until golden. Place the ready pancakes onto a plate, cover with a towel and put in a warm place.

4. You will have enough batter for 12 to 15 pancakes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve, add ice cream if desired.
