Ingredients
6–8 servings

“Makfa” superior grade wheat flour – 320 grams;

rice flour – 80 grams;

vegetable oil – 4 tablespoons;

melted butter – 3 tablespoons;

water – 80 ml;

hummus – 200 grams;

1 egg;

sesame seeds – 2 tablespoons;

salt.

Cooking

1. Mix all the flour with a pinch of salt in a bowl. Make a dent in the middle of the flour heap, pour vegetable oil and melted butter, mix the dough into fine crumbles. Add water and mix a homogeneous dough. Roll the dough up into a ball and put it into the fridge to chill for 1 hour.

2. Divide the dough into similar pieces and roll each of them into a 8–10 cm circle. Put 1 tablespoon of hummus in the center of each circle and form round pasties.

3. Heat the oven to 180°С and bake for 25 minutes. Smear the pasties with whipped egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for another 5–7 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm.
