Salad with Millet, Vegetables and Sesame Seed Dressing
Ingredients
4 servings

For the salad:

200 g of packaged Makfa millet

6 radishes

2 cucumbers

4 sprigs of parsley

2 stalks of green onion

salt

for the dressing:

2 cloves of garlic

60 ml of water

2 tbsp of lemon juice

1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper

1/2 tsp of jeera (cumin)

1/2 tsp of salt

1 tsp of black sesame seeds

Cooking

1. For the dressing, peel and cut the garlic into large chunks. Mix the garlic, the water, the lemon juice, the cayenne pepper, the jeera (cumin) and the salt in a blender. Add sesame seeds, and refrigerate.

2. Pour water over the millet, add salt and cook on medium heat for 20-25 minutes until ready. Let cool and place in a salad bowl.

3. Wash the radishes and the cucumbers, cut the radishes into circles, and the cucumbers into semi-circles. Add to the millet and mix.

4. Add the dressing to the salad, decorate with parsley leaves and strips of green onion, and serve.
